Retreats
It is my great joy to offer retreats that are collaborative, nourishing, and offer us the time and place to slow down, connect with the wonder of nature and just BE. These retreats are also opportunities to form new friendships and for learning together. Our teachers take many forms - wildflowers, mountain streams, a wise sister, your guides. Each day is designed with balance in mind. There are active, rejuvenating practices and invitations for stillness, rest and reflection. We then honor the different parts of ourselves, giving loving attention where it is needed. I hope to see you at the next retreat!

About Alice
Alice is a certified Kripalu mindful outdoor guide and an ANFT relational nature and forest therapy guide. Her love for the natural world extends back to her childhood raising dairy goats, gardening and getting to know the forest above her family’s farm.
Alice has been guiding outdoor wanders since 2024 to build reciprocal connections to the many beings of our biosphere, our home. These mindful encounters are known to boost our immune systems, rebalance our neurological and physiological systems, and provide a space of support and belonging.
Alice spends her time between two New York islands tending her native gardens, three dogs, and a thousand or so oysters. She also spends her time walking, dreaming up a new idea, teaching, or working on her doctorate in systems science. One of her favorite bits of wisdom comes from JRR Tolkien, who reminds us that “Not all those who wander are lost.”
